Just seen McCain's new running mate. Interesting, at least the new administration, whoever gets in, will look different than all of the previous ones. Did you know that there was a native American VP in the 1930s. His tribe is now extinct, although he grew up on the reservation with his mother. No one mentions these things.

Now with all the rain we got there are weeds everywhere, except the front lawn as I had that sprayed. Still with the weather being so hot this week they can stay where they are until the temperature goes down and I can pull them out. Thing is, I am not at all sure what is a weed and what is not. Now I know a nettle, they hurt. have to spray something on those because they are starting to spread on one side of the back garden. As long as things look neat I am happy.
